Being a twin and one of three brothers helped Michael develop a playful mindset. Exploring nature, building forts with scrap wood, acting out wrestling matches/action movie fight scenes, trying to be like Michael Jordan by lowering the basketball rim to dunk at will. A life of imaginary experiences developed a constant state of creating and day dreaming. Although school was tough growing up, Michael got his B.A in Media, diving into realms such as journalism, advertising, photography and filmmaking. This birthed his desire to write and direct. During this education time Michael started training in street dance styles, multiplying the energy of creating and exploring both realms together. Traveling and learning from his teachers and mentors helped broaden the scope of life within people. The different languages, lifestyles and food developed into a love for watching people and learning through observing. Michael is also a husband, father, and community advocate for dance and overall mental, physical and spiritual health.
