curtain man
Through a lens, any space can be seen as a set. A place to tell any story. My small living room, along with a slightly fish-eyed lens made this feel right for the idea. This lens has edges that barely give the fish-eyed effect but enough to warp an object/subject. With my OG BMPCC the crop pushes in enough to not cause too much distortion. The arms, hands and body warp nice enough to give them an odd look but not too much. Placing the light far enough to also give the quick “transport” from close to far was fun to play with also. Like the Wizard Of OZ the person behind the curtain is not always what they make themselves out to be. Pull it back and we, most of the time, get something different. Those who work behind a curtain tend to have something to hide, or else they would work in plain sight. Unless you work in theatre of course.
