Run, Amy

When my Wife became a Mother, she started to realize, she didn’t want to just be a Mother. Not just a Wife. There was this inner work going on that eventually exploded into a passion for running. Small runs turned into longer runs. Watching and studying how to grow as a runner while also keeping the fun intact was not easy. It still is not easy. Runs out in the rain, cold, harsh Texas heat, it didn’t deter her from progressing and learning more about herself, about what it truly means for her to run. Now, the biggest challenge yet, 26.2. The intense challenge of running a marathon.

For six days I filmed a glimpse into the mental and physical preparation leading to her farthest finish line to date. During this time our son Moses’ also attempts his longest run to date as well, a 2-mile race. Here’s to more runs, and more shoes I realized we have to pay for. Salud runners!
